I swear ole Abe had his eyes shut tight due to not seeing the Sun in over 6 inchs! It was like the 1945 Wheat was asking " Where you been boy"?
He was laying deep [for me] in shallow center field. Waiting, waiting amid all the bits of drink cans scattered around. Yeah 1945 isn't all that old, so I'm going to shine him up a little, and turn this one loose at some store. Soon he might be resting in some shoebox, or in someones collection, instead of a damp dark grave!
