About 12 years ago. At a park, I blundered into a real honey hole. Seems a picnic scattered a bale of straw. Threw in a $100 of quarter's. So I come along couple days later and get this, $64 in quarter's. Another hunter (Minelab) was watching this from a ways off. When I finished up he came over said "I just have to ask"!
Showed him, I said couple pounds of quarter's. How about you? "About a buck 75. Should have bought a Garrett ! We had a laugh and called it quits.
 
Yeah the idea a modern version of the GTI's. The 2500 & the 1500 are still being kicked around. And only about 50,000 hunters would take a hard look at a revamped ATX. A couple of good tweaks , doesn't have to be a Star Wars project.
