Hawaiian ocean setting

I live on Oahu and my ctx seems to have problems in the saltwater, does anyone live here have numbers to help with the faults readings. Kinda new and really appreciate any help.

BigDog - where on the island do you live? What settings are you using currently? I have read here that people are having better luck with auto vice manual sensitivity, contrary to what Minelab has said to use.

Aloha, I live North Shore Oahu. I use beach mode with auto sensitivity. It works good on dry sand and wet sand, go into water then plenty faults reading, went even small wave just goes off. Mahalo. Stan

I have heard that going to manual and turn it down until stable works in the surf. Even if you have to go to to 6 or 7. Give it a try and see if that helps.

Make sure you turn on Ground Balancing and Manually Ground Balance on the beach/surf.

Love that part of the island. Do you think you would ever get to hunt the old Ko'olau Boys Home (Crawford
