Hawaii Hunt With Garrett ATX

Had another successful trip to Hawaii with my Garrett ATX. Only had a week this time instead of two so only got half as many rings as my last trip http://www.findmall.com/read.php?18,2136951,2136951#msg-2136951 but not bad. Nothing spectacular though a couple fake diamond rings really had me going. I ended up with four plain 14K bands and one 10K white gold band with five small diamonds. Everything was found in the water with mask and snorkel. Almost more impressive was the couple post earrings which are small finds in salt water. I used the 8" mono the entire time.

Very well done Steve. Id call that a profitable trip. Did the detector perform the way you expected it to?
 
The ATX performed flawlessly in the combination of salt water and volcanic rock in Hawaii. PI detecting is not for everyone but I will never have to worry about what detector I want to use in Hawaii ever again. The ATX hits the sweet spot for me.
