HAVINGS PROBLEMS WHITH MY MUSKETEER -- HELP

[size=x-large]since i got this it will suddenly just make a scratchy sound and go silent i 1st thought it was the headphone jack and replaced it but it still does it i fixed my headphones it still does it like today i was going along and then it just quit now its working again anyone have this problem or know whats wrong ?????????[/size]
 
forget it i took care of the broblem i smashed it what a hammer that way no one els will buy a bad used detector , all i can say is it was the best detector i ever used but it was acting up for somone els and they sold it and i bought it and nothing i can do no money to fix it now i dont have to worry about it

[size=x-large]I do think i know now what was the problem , It was the battery pack a fine member of this fourum sold me another control box and he gave me two battery paks O>K when i put in the alkaline pack i got no sound took it out and put in the rechargible pack the detector worked fine , so i looked closer at the alkaline pack and one of the little bars that the batterys push against was out of place so i pushed it back down and it worked so whith this problem the detector could just go silent telling this so you dont have to go thru what i had to but i remain unchanged the musketeer is a great detector I,m so glad to have it back ,[/size]
