Back into detecting after 10 yrs. My son gave me a bounty hunter vlf and got me back into the hobby this summer, had great fun and many cool finds. Upgraded to the prizm II,pin pointing is new to me,any tricks to this ? I swing, beep, pin point, dig, more times than not an empty hole.Too hot to keep digging empty holes.

Get a 5.3 coil its great at pin pointing and is easear on your back i have troble pinpointing whith the 9.5 coil but the 5.3 is so nice

Whites offers the 8 inch and 9.5 inch coil for the Prizms. Your 8 inch coil will pinpoint dead center. When you pinpoint you have to have the coil scrubbing the ground. X the target and it will be in the center of the coil. You can tell how deep by the pp tone. Maybe an electronic pinpointer is in order for you.
