Thanks for everyone's posts, it keeps me motivated! I have too busy to post lately, but have been getting out when I get a chance. The first pic of of my silvers so far this year and the pile in the middle is 34 wheats. The rest of the stuff in the first pic is from a hunt with MontanaMatt. The two silver earrings came from the same place as the Candian Large Cent. This was a first for me and I was really excited to dig it. The year is 1911, the "godless coin" the first year of King George and the only year without a god reference. The Canadian people complained and it was fixed in 1912, pretty cool. Aluminum saloon token is in bad shape, got a Coast Guard Reserve pin and some kind of medallion with a jester for a street fair and carnival. I also recently got silver number 11 for the year, a BLAZING 1941 Merc, probably the nicest dug coin that I've found:thumbup: The next full paper towel picture is from an old house that I got permission for today. It was built in 1900 and it was productive. I got 3 wheats, a 1929 Buffalo, and a 1903 V Nickel. Those are my first 2 old nickels for the year and they look like they will clean up nice (don't clean expensive coins, these aren't). Got a couple of cool yard finds there a little Bison lock, couple keys, cheesy bracelet, and old painted white oval porcelain broach, and part of an old baby spoon. I'm sure there has to be silver at this house, can't wait to get back there. Hope everyone is out hunting, thanks for looking and sharing!
HH!

Awesome finds Jcooking! It's nice to finally get out there after a long hard winter. I think this is going to be a great MD summer! :yo:

Really nice bunch of finds. Keep the fun rolling.

Very nice finds! I love to see the older nickels and you've got a great start to some silver. Your Merc. dime looks as if it were lost right after it was made. Also see weight for balancing a tire. I've not seen those for a while. Thanks for sharing your finds and glad you posted. HH, Nancy
