...that nails give an even higher tighter tone than even silver? Thats what I have experienced anyway. I keep my tone var. at 8. Anyone else notice this? Thanks, Jim C.in Mich.
 
yes iron and hot rocks both give a higher pinging tone than silver.. pretty easy to tell after a while.. I set my variability to max and still tell the difference...
 
Sometimes I find it easy to tell the extra high pitch sound of iron, sometimes it's not so easy for me.
What do you do when it's high pitched and the cursor is stuck in the upper right corner or stuck in the right side mid way, so that only part of the cursor shows? I have not been digging those, under the assumption that silver usually seems to dance around a bit.
 
pretty safe leaving those, thats where hot rocks fall.. even the biggest coins dont go up that high
