Have you named your Compadre ? (your:tesoro: detector)

How many of you have a name for your compadre or your detector . I have noticed a few Names and it got me thinking maybe i should name mine.....

I keep refering to my Vaquero as a she, but then it would be a Vaquera instead.
My Compass I call "The Old Guy".
My Compadre I call "Amazing".
My F2 I call "My Buddy".
My new F70 has no name yet but "Partner" fits.

My frustrating first one, a POS Pioneer EX with many problems I just call "Closet Dweller"
If I ever come across a bonfire big enough I will change that to "Kindling", or "Blob of melted plastic".

Some of my friends I hunt with laugh at me. They say I am talking to my detector. Well, I do. It talks to me. So some times I call her GABBY.. KEN

I don't have a compadre but do have a sand shark, which I call bobbie, due to all of the bobby pins I find.

I just refer to it as the Compadre. Works for me since I already have a hunting and digging partner in Orange Cat.

I've said "good ol buddy" and "pal" to mine a few times.
Now I've added the 8" Compadre recently. Haven't called it any names yet (good or bad).Something may cross my mind 1st time it gets me nice silver or gold.
