Have they resolved the low volume issues with the waterproof headphones available for the CTX3030?

I am seeing a lot of historical threads on here and elsewhere about the extremely low volume put out by the KOSS and Gray Ghost waterproof headphone models for the CTX3030.

Has this issue been resolved?

I don't have a problem with mine. I have the yellow ones.

I hunted the beach on a very windy day and could not hear what I wanted to hear out of the detector. I was using th G Ghost. So no I think the problem still exists. Especially if you have a hearing loss. My solution is to put a waterproof connector on a regular pair of headphones and not get my head wet.

There is a forum member, I believe, that has a fix to make the GG waterproof headphones louder. You have to send them to him for the fix. If you search older posts about GG waterproof headphones you may find the post with the answer.

Well if your hard of hearing these will wake you up, (Skullies Conversion for the GGUW) (same speakers as the Sunray Pro's, Black Widows, Killer Bees) and the GGUW's have been noted over the years for having low audio, But they are one of Nicest built set of HP's out there. I'm still doing the conversions for the GGUW's but the regular Skullies are done for the year. The stock Yellow Koss are 85db/SPL, the Skullies/GGUW converts are ......102db and the stock GGUW's are 66/67 db's,.....
