Well I don't have any more excuses, have my MXT & now the Sun Ray DX-1 probe...
Got a 24" beach digger & a sand scoop....
Also my RatPhones....
Will start at the Ocean Springs beach this weekend....
Wish me good luck...

Have they started pumping sand onto the beach yet? I hunted Biloxi recently but didn't go to Ocean Springs.

They started pumping around the Lighthouse & will work West over time....
The Ocean Springs Beach will not be rebuilt as not that much sand was lost..
 
I have heard that a bunch were detecting for the quarters spilled by the casinos during Katrina......
Should be a few of them left & I am sure that a lot were swept back into the sound as Katrina's flood waters retreated...
