But am talking to some folks with a Golden Sabre 2. I enjoy both of mine and split the time pretty much equally between them. The GS2 shows to be a 12 khz machine compared to 10 khz of the ones i already have, Would I enjoy and get use out of the GS2 or would it sit? I'll add that my wife and I intend to do some detecting in new mexico and utah this year and I'm wondering if it would be more sensitive to small gold or is the name just a name? Thanks for any opinions. - Tim

Sure would be hard to beat the detectors that you already have ;)

Point taken..... :0) The current setup works good but I would like to add a gold detector at some point. Not much of that around here but we like going to Utah NM and Ariz.

I am not no detector engineer by along shot but I am willing to bet that your Eldo with its ED-180 disriminatoin will do as good or better than the Golden on the gold. I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time but I do know there isn't much that escapes them Eldo's.
