Have CZ 20 with 10" coil, my beach machine. Might try it in parks.

Is its depth and performance about the same as other CZ models. Use it hip mounted so no fatigue. Was considering a CZ-5, 6, 7 but this baby might be just as good in parks. It's great in wet salt sand, I love it. Thanks for any replies, Jabbo

Always use my CZ-7 in parks, the CZ-20 I have has been my beach and water machine, and used it in competition hunts. Park usage requires a bit more finesse, and that 10" will miss a good target, perhaps many of them due to masking. Construction and open dirt work can be a toss up depending on site conditions.

HH!

Pick up a used land CZ as the CZ20 is heavy and bulky on land and of course no meter but works excellently in the water..Might suggest a smaller coil also...Sure the CZ20 will work but sort of out of its element..Digital version land CZ would probably be best as has a better notch system which is not linear...

I've got to put my two cents worth on this one.. I have used my CZ20 in NJ parks. have had some success with it. Try the all metal mode. With the 10 inch coil you should get good depth. when you get a signal turn the dial to 0 disk. if it's a good signal dig it...worked for me a few times. made some very good finds.

I have a CZ20 I have had little luck with it so far. I would like to get some advice. I live in Austin,Texas if there are any treasure hunters in the area that would like to show me the ropes i would appreciate the help. Thanks Rescue Swimmer1988
