I sold a 1266 XB because I wanted to "retire" and just piddle around on lawns, and yards. The Silver is a fantastic machine for doing just that. I just ordered a 3 by 18 ground sweeper, and may get a 5.75 coil as well. However, the woods and fields keep calling .Fall is here, weeds dying back, insects down, and so are some of the artifacts. The 1266 XB was the last Fisher I had... It had, good sturdy construction. Could get someone to swear up at you in Mandarin ,when digging. Thinking of either a new Fisher, non TV screen, or a deeper Tesoro U Max model that will accept the coils I have..May even con my wife into taking a ride to see the Autumn colors and wind up in Mt Oreb to see how the ground sweeper works on Todd's Bandito..Don't know of anyone else in Ohio with U Max models to do comparisons with..Very open to suggestions/ comments.. It took me three months to decide to part with the XB, Sat down and went through every thread in the Tesoro Forum., Every darn page..... Decided to buy a Silver U Max based on your knowledge. And I have every reason to expect the information I'll get, will be the kind you can take to the bank......Thank you, I really appreciate your help ....Cordially NAD ..
