Well after reading the reviews I swaped my minelab safari for a new g2 and also have the 5 x 10" coil and 5" coil coming and can't wait to get back to my sites now to see how good i can pick through the nasty iron, hear great things about the 5" coil

It's a very sweet detector I use mine on relics. I run mine at 100% gain and set my discrim. On 50 and I find 22 bullets at 6" no problem.

Brandon----You are going to LOVE that detector!---Those are two very good coils you are getting with it also.----Both the G2 & new GB are such great little machines, I think it's "got passed" a lot of people just how wonderful relic hunters these two detectors really are.----I've lost count how many eagle buttons I've pulled out of highly mineralized, IRON INFESTED, burned out areas with them.----They are so versatile, of course they are great gold hunters but are also geat coin & relic hunters also.-----You made the right choice in purchasing this detector.----If you want a tad more depth with it, get the 11" coil (and/or 13" Ultimate) also.----I've got all these coils & they all have their place depending on your hunt situation(s).----------Del

i'm currious on the NEL sharp shooter coil would love to know how it does with that or even the 10 x 12 SEF coil, that the light weight is going to be awesome on my arm!

I have heard the 13" ultimate is the way to go besides what Teknetics offers!! The 11" coil is no slouch it goes about as deep as I can use my Lesche hand digger!! Next time I go relic hunting I'm taking my shovel!!

i'm really liking what i'm hearing i guess though me and my buddy are going to the coast from a invite from another detectorist we know who claims he's finding old silver so i hope it will hold up to salt water?
