I've been a lurker pretty much on the site and have been very surprised at the talent and what you can do with a photo. I have a digital camara and a 166mhz computer. So my digital abilites are very limited.
Anyway, I have a professional scan of a pic saved on disk. I was a little disappointed that it lost it's sharpness. Was wondering if anyone would be willing for me to send it to them to see what they could do with the color and sharpness. I would also like the pic done in black and white.
It's a reenactor pic of a southern bell thanks...

Nimrod,
That's pretty good. Really appreciate the effort! Could you possibly do one in black and white to give it the antique effect?
Thanks a bunch! How did you do that?

Jb,
That is awsome! I really apprecite you doing that!
Just wondering what kind of set up do you need to edit photos like this. Does a great job.

I used an old Windows 3.1 version of Aldus PhotoStyler from 1994 to do the pics. I have the latest version of PhotoShop but seldom use it for anything except sharpening an image. The old version of PhotoStyler is small (2 megs compared to over 30 megs for PhotoShop), simple and fast in comparison to PhotoShop, I've been using it for 10 years and can have a photo half finished before I get started good in PhotoShop. I had a photography business for about 25 years, did a lot of copy work and used the Aldus program to restore old damaged photos in a few minute that would take me hours to restore using dyes and small brushes.
