Have a Cortes and Vaquero. Is the CZ-3D deeper for coins.

Search in Jersey parks. The soil is mild and soft and man the coins sink deep. Jabbo
 
CZ's for years have been as deep or deeper than anything on the market while Tesoro especially the Cortes is just an average detector on depth...Would be stretching it to Say CZ's give double the depth but expect 4-5 more inches at least..
 
I like using metered machines in parks. I read a lot of raves about the CZ's and about the Edge. The Vaquero goes deeper than the Cortes but it doesn't have a meter, it's light weight and great to use on the beach in the dry sand. In my air tests, it detects smaller gold than the CZ, but it's not good in the wet salt sand. Jabbo
 
In wet salt sand and Tesoro's don't, however Tesoro's always excelled on all gold jewelry especially the small stuff so again all units have their give and takeaways...
