Just wandering if anyone hasd experience using the 4.5 crossfire 2 with 1350 please explain,,,, do you pinpoint off the tip,,, depth etc

Ill be watchig this one. I havent gotten the 4.5 "hocky puck" for my 1350, but in the right place and under the right consitions I know nothing else can compare. Lets see what the others say...

I have one for my 1350. It is my second most used coil behind the stock one, I also have the 10X14DD. The "hockey puck" does very well in playgrounds and UNDER the "monkey bars" as upside down pockets dont hold the goodies very well  It gets you within an inch or so to the metal vertical poles. It pinpoints very easily in the center of the coil, and can hit easily on clad at 5- 6" or so. Profiling still works, and it is much easier to use in trashy areas due to a greater chance of only getting one target under the coil at a given time. It is a coil I would not do without. If you have any more questions, let me know.
P.S. you should know I have one for both of my Garrett land machines.

The 4.5 is well worth the bucks. You will love it and the depth will amaze you. Pinpoints right in the center.

i use one on my 750 and 550 if you hunt trashy areas it is well worth the money and will pay for itself

Hunting with about 20 guys all using standard coils in an area with 5 foundations from the mid 1800's. used it to hunt in and aroiund blown down tree roots that none of the other coils could even think about hunting. pulled out a 1919 wheatie, 1980 nickle and a couple relics. the only other coin found was a 1908 indian in fairly open territory. depth is amazing for coil size and pinpoint is dead center just dig the whole coil and you get it for sure!

Also use it often in trashy area's go cherry pick the good stuff out of the junk.

Only drawback if you want to call it that is it doesn't cover much territory!

You will not be disappointed after buying it. Just make sure you get an extra lower stem and bolt assy to make the swap out really easy. I actually use it on my 1350 more than the stock coil. I use stock coil to find out where I want to stop and pull out the hockey puck. It pinpoints right on and profiles accurately. If you ever hunt old railroad beds you will be amazed at the chunks of stuff that set off a detector. I couldn't stabilize my stock coil so I switched to the 4.5 and snagged out an 1896 Indian head penny in perfect condition. It was about 5 inches deep in the chert bed. Thank God for Lesche diggers! I am also amazed at the varying speeds that I can swing that little thing. I can go fast and cover some ground, but still go really slow and pluck something out of the junk. Bought mine for around $65 and paid $12 for a lower stem and bolt assy. I have found way over $77 of clad with it in the 18 months I have had it.
