Got out today and went back to a spot that keeps giving up old coins over and over again.
It is probably a couple acres in size and coins a can be found anywhere here.
The weather was nice and actually hit 50 degrees today.

I hunted an area that last time out I got a seated dime and my buddy headed off to a different area that we have never hunted..
He did very well and was able to pull three Indians out.
He got two of them in one hole a 81 and 89 then a little bit later he dug a 1869.
Although it is dinged right where the date is it is still easily visible and makes a nice addition to his Indians.
I was feeling under the weather today but, wanted to get out with him.
Also, dug was a bunch of clad and a token of some kind and a nice old little bell.
Here is the digs all together then a close up of his three Indians.
What a great way for him to start the season. Congrats. :clapping:

As a fairly green MD-er, I'm always appreciative when someone posts some "junk" with the good stuff. It makes me feel like I'm not the only one pulling mostly crap out of the dirt!

Thanks!

Ain't that the truth...lol

I think I have a bell just like that I found underwater. I don't know why I missed this post. Nice indians. Has to be more silver in there!! Any idea why your finding things there? Old houses gone, camp of some kind, or portable church? A few acres will keep you busy the rest of your life. Congrats
