Hate to say it but the MXS looks pretty good

Could give the Tigershark and others a run for the money.............
Claimed waterproof but I don't see it indicated that its submersible and to what depth.

I've read a lot of favorable comments regarding the MXT thru the years. Maybe the MXSPORT is designed to be used in water depths like the Garrett AT Pro? I have thought for some time (even before the AT Pro came out) that most water hunters don't actually dive to great depths so a all-weather, waterproof micro-housed submersible unit to shallow depths would fit the bill for a lot of detectorists minus the additional weight of diving units.

I don't get it why do they keep making water proof single freq machines , useless in the salt , ok if you like dirt fishing in the rain I don't so not worth anything to me, looks nice though, but not for me.

Looks like the Tigershark is still a good deal, no threat to the AT Pro sales.
MXS is way out of my budget.

Theres a whole lot of freshwater lakes and streams out there....

I'm kinda checking out that XP Deus lately. that has some real good reviews. lightweight and wireless. a bit pricey but, does look worth it with all it can do. with this whole cazador fiasco, i just may get one in the next few years. any opinions? i do like my vaquero. would not mind something like that though in the future.

Like any other machine, some like them, some don't.
