Hat Pin?, Buff, and Diamond Ring at ROW yard.

Finished up the front yard behind the ROW that i've finished detecting. Here are the results: 49 coins consisting of 2 Dimes, 2 Nickles, 33 Zincs, 12 Coppers, a Hat Pin?, a Buff and a diamond ring. The ring and Buff where in the same hole so the tones and vdis were all over the place. Found the ring in the hole and before covering up the hole swung my Simplex over the loose dirt outside the hole and found the Buff. Did a little detecting in the back yard and found a couple pennies. Should probably go back and do it right. HH Jim.

1/4 carat total weight in diamonds and it's only 10 k gold, but I'll take it. Jim

Nice hunt. It makes you wonder why the ring and the Buffalo were in the same hole. Was it just a fluke that they were lost at separate times and they just happened to be dropped in the same spot ? Or were they both in someones pocket and spilled out together ?
