Has the latest generation of explorers still got breakage problems.

I was thinking of buying an explorer but i was worried incase bits started breaking off, i want an honest opinion is the explorer likely to break?
 
Bits didnt break off. The tolerances where too tight where upper shaft went into the control housing so hence when you would close clasp closed it put to much stress on the plastic that it could develop cracks.
But that problem has been resolved.
