Some of you gold nugget hunters must be winding down for the season....looking froward to seeing some vids/pics of your hunts.

Relic hunters......how's finding "old" coming along this year? Got any great finds?

Water hunters....hung up your wet suits? There's still lots of good water finds to be had.

Just when the water is above 70F, bathing suit is the order of the day, vacationers are here in droves...you want to ask about winter? Only bad outlook is all the detector bearing vacationers that will be here this weekend. Too bad for them that the beaches are pretty clean. The locals have done a good job of keeping the heavy metals out of the water and out of the sand. The goodness coming next week is free parking during the week. Then comes a slow time for a few weeks, until the sand moves out (we all hope it does) then its time for the winter fur and 5/7mil neoprene and great low tides. Even Christmas will be surrounded by great low tides. Can't wait...

I need to go now and take a nap for this afternoon's marathon cleaning of the local areas. The process never ends.
