Has anyone used this Co. to sell their junk gold ?

are always available to answer any questions that one might have. They are honest and I have never had any problems with them.

.... to send in some jewelry for a friend who does clean up / fix up work on rentals when folks have been evicted or just leave all their stuff when they "move on".

Midwest was quick and responsive. I inadvertently had given them a bad address to send the check. When I followed up, found they had sent the check right away ... to the bad address I had given them. When I gave them a correct address they sent a second check the same or next day, no questions asked. That was impressive! That's the mark of a company who grows through excellent customer service.

They sent a photo of the stuff as it was received and a report on what the various KT weights were.

DW, I read somewhere that regardless of who you select as your smelter / gold buyer, NEVER mix your gold KT values .... make separate shipments ... all 14KT, all 18KT, etc. to insure you get paid for the full value of what you sent in. I really don't know if it makes a difference at Midwest or not.

One of my friends on here used them and had a HUGE problem with them. They told him one of his chains marked 14K was not gold and did NOT pay him for it.

IT IS ALSO THEIR POLICY NOT TO SEND ANYTHING BACK THAT THEY SAY IS WORTHLESS. I saw the chain but I didn't look for any marks when he showed it to me. It seems strange that they feel they could keep it though.
