Does it give the detector the same punch as the one people have been using on their Omega 8000's ?

Has anyone used the 11inch DD coil on the F5 yet?

Not certain about that. I guess what's hot to one, isn't to another. 
The unit does perform a bit better with the 11" DD over the 10" concentric, about the way it did on the F70. One needs to realize DD coils are primary designed for heavier mineralized soil. In some cases they do better in trash, not always. There also could be some degrading with discrimination, and rusty bcap rejection.
Overall it does work well. I just didn't want to paint a picture that it was something that it isn't.
Anyone interested, I have them in stock.
