Has anyone tried the MXT & theT2

I am new to the T2 but it is hard to understand the sounds. Does the MXT have a clear tone one a target? The T2 kind of sounds like a whale even in the DP mood?

Both are great detectors and I find the T-2 is more sensitive to small targets compared to the MXT.The MXT is a very fun detector to use and out of all the Whites I have used the MXT is the best I have used. Depth wise I dug deep with them both and use the 6X10 coil DD on the MXT. The MXT is much more stable i feel and I like the relic mode myself as I only had 2 tones, but with the T-2 I seem to use the DP mode and the 3 tones. I didn't find the tone ID to be very accurate on the T-2 when it was over 6 inches deep, but found the MXT to be more accurate if you like the look at the meter.
I also found to use the T-2 when other detectors were around I had to lower the sensitivity and raise the disc to get it to stop chattering while the MXT I didn't have that problem if I didn't run the sensitivity in the + numbers.
MY wife uses the MXT more than I do now as I use a Sovereign GT and a Explorer more plus try other detector like the T-2 and found I did like the T-2 a lot, but for coin hunting the MXT would be the one I would use.
