Has anyone tried a SunRay probe on a Classic yet?

I believe the Classic is an 8kHz machine, and last time I checked Sun Ray is not making a probe for that frequency.

The Classic is a 6.59 khz detector and they DO make a probe for it.It uses the same one as the XLT and other 6.59 khz detectors.
Fully compatible with XLT and models using 6.592 khz including Eagle (series), Spectrums, Pro XL, Quantum XT, 6000 Di Pro, 5900 Di Pro, IDX Pro, Classic ID, Classic I, II & III S/L, etc. ! The XL-1 is precision built to ensure peak performance on those models!
This is taken from the SunRay website.

You just said "A Classic" so I picked the Classic 5 which is an 8kHz machine.
I had a Classic that I gave to my brother, I don't remember which model it was or what frequency it operated at and I never tried a Sun Ray probe on it.
I have, however tried it on a few other detectors such as the 5900 Di Pro, the 6000 Di pro, XLT, XL pro,M6, DFX, and V3i. I liked it just fine on all but the V3i. I also had to replace the toggle switch on the M6 to make it less clumsy to use.
