on gold chains? I'm curious how they would compare with the Tiger Shark and Lobo ST on chains and other jewelry items.

Cibola + Otterbox/Pelican for freshwater wading might be an interesting project.

I for one am not happy with any of the offerings from the Mfgr's for fresh water wading. Can't understand it either as there are some land machines out there that would make excellent choices for fresh water use. Maybe they figure the market wouldn't be big enough to justify the cost??

Bill,
I talked to Vince at Tesoro and it sounds good. On jewelry size gold (including chains) and coil size for coil size he felt they they would be more comparable to the Lobo. Not exact of course as the Lobo does have much higher gain to hit the small nuggets. But with each equipped with a 9 X 8 coil he felt they would be "close" on jewelry.

I've seen the photos you have posted on another forum of your freshwater work in your region. I have a very similar situation, my pontoon boat is on a 5,000 acre crystal clear lake with lots of "socialised" sandbars etc. I've already told the lads at the marina that at iceout I want my treasure barge launched!
Now you've got my trigger finger twitching on the credit card, let's see, marriage, Cibola, marriage, Cibola...hhmmmm?
