Has anyone added a ground balance and any other mods to a 1266? and how are these so incredibley deep without it.

Hey Mike, I've had the 1266 back in the middle 90's and it was a great coin relic machine, the depth comes from the 4,8khz I would think, HH hank

Yes I had a 1266x that I added ground balance to...I believe a 5K one turn external pot was used...Did it make a difference? I didn't notice any great difference.I like the characteristics of some machine(s) Like the 1266x that is just ground balanced to a ferrite rod.Like it comes from the factory...They are deep....but you have to put up with a ton of noise to get there...Just like there new "F" series.......personally I like the 1200 series better....They have better see through Iron capabilities....that I have seen.....
