Has anyone heard anything about

I wasn't a small coil kind of guy until I bought a 4" scorcher coil for my GT&i1500 and man it changed the way I look at small coils now.

When I need a small coil, I have to hunt with my CZ & 5" coil.
2 Week ends ago when hunting with a friend, he was using a CZ 3d and 5" coil, he called me over to check a target. I checked his target, the number's were jumping around bad,-6 up to 36. I said thats nothing that I would dig, well he pulled out a wheatie that was in with some rusty nails. And before that he got a 1929 SL quarter, that was a one way hit at one angle, it to was in with some rusty nails.
Last week end in the same area that the quarter was found, I was using a CZ 5 and 5" coil,I was using zero disc. I got a low tone (iron) sound that would climb to mid tone (foil). I dug out a 1920 wheatie, in with nails at 6" deep. So if I get some jumpy numbers with the X-Terra, I am going to dig them. Come on small coil. HH..BJ

The 9" concentric gives great depth on the 70, but at the expense of seperation in iron/trash. Unfortunately good seperation is what I need.

Hurry up ML!!!

Tom

selling my cz 70? Hope that was just the smaller coil that made a difference and not the model?????. CZ's are a very good detector. I have done the same in the past with my cz qnd other detectors said junk????? Time will tell......Sonny
