My last couple of outings with the MXT it completely shuts down, I remove the battery pack put it back in continue hunting fifteen twenty minutes later the same thing happens battery check is showing 11.

batt. conyacts need cleaning and /or battery pack is not seating or is otherwise loose. thats my experience. went to office max and got some contact cleaner spray and washed the inside battery box contacts. made sure it was the type that does not leave a residue. it worked for me.

HH

You can also give the contacts a light rub with a pencil eraser.

I'd also visually check the contacts inside the control box to confirm they are going to be making good, secure contact with the battery pack contacts. The contact "prongs" can get bent in a litlle allowing the battery pack to lose contact. Always insert the battery pack gently to avoid this happening.

this happened to me to . i pulled the contacts inside the mxt that connect to the battery pack out a little bit that contact the battery pack. that fixed the problem for me. hope this post helps.:detecting:
