Anyone ever run a nugget or two under thier CTX? I know it's not a prospecting machine but I plan on doin some relic hunting in an area known for nuggets. Was just wondering. I don't think it would have a problem hitting a 1/2 oz at all :)
 
I wouldn't expect a BBS or FBS machine to pick up tiny nuggets, but a couple grams should work. Maybe someone here can try one out on nuggets.
 
That would be great! I will say though that the ctx surprised me today by pulling a 22 bullet out of a public park from about 6-7 inches. I thought for sure it was a deep zinc.
 
I dug a 5" zinc penny reading once in a park and got rewarded with this:
