has anyone ever changed a speaker in a golden older style face?

hey has anyone ever changed a speaker in a golden umax with older face plate? just currious how hard it was because mine has crapped out on me and hear the signal fine throught the ear phones so i'm asuming must be speaker, its under warranty of course but its a pain to ship and wait if it's some simple to get at

I've got packing tape over all my internal speakers, to keep crud out of them...
and never use 'em !

Aside from showing a by-stander how the machine beeps on a target, headphones should be used 95% of the time...

I would call them first.do not void your warranty by opening it up.They will most likely tell you the best speaker to put in yourself, if you want to void your warranty. Most likely, they will tell you to send it in and will put in the best speaker and tune it up also. It does not cost to much to send it, and you will most likely get it back in a week.if you like the golden umax,send it in. I tape all my speaker grills and use headphones.Good luck,sam in ms
