Ron, you said "posing", which I take as possibly claiming to find something that wasn't?

Or did you mean to say "posting", as in maybe some of the more valuable finds shouldn't be posted? My 'script expired long ago :look: I was thinking this time about trying Lost Treasures.

POSTING sorry i never claimed to be able to type
The article was talking about guys posting finds on
sites and telling where and how they founfd the stuff
even it was illegal to do so.. the point is to be carefull
about what you say because some folks reading the sites are
looking for ways to stop :detecting:

Paronia?? i dont think so.. i know several folks around
here that dont like to see us using our tectors to enjoy
ourselves..

Anyway i thought it was a good article

I've watched a lot of the videos of metal detecting on line and read this forum for a long while and I've noticed that most people are kind of vague about where they are hunting and even where they are located. Makes sense to me. Believe it when I say that if I ever find a really good "hotSpot" nobody will know where it is. Sorry guys but I ain't tellin. As far a posting finds, I think most states are protective about historical sites and indian artifacts, so if I found any of those, they would stay quiet adn depending on what it was, it would probably end up at the local museum.
