Has anyone been paying attention to the Olympics?

I am glued to the TV screen mesmerized at the action packed and thrilling spectacle that is Curling.

What a sport!!!! i would bet money that this forum could field an Olympic grade team. all that is required is one guy to hurl rocks and two to sweep up after him and the last team member has to be as dumb as a rock.

any ideas on who should be drafted on to the team and what positions would they play?

When I first moved to Minot, N.D. back in 1980, curling was on tv. I figured "who in their right mind would watch such a thing??" In a matter of about two weeks I was glued to the tv, watching every event that was broadcasted. Sadly the Canadian channel was eventually removed and I went through curling withdraw for quite some time.

It is a cool sport. Pardon the pun ;)

I have not watched any of the Olympics as of yet. I really have a hard time getting into them anymore.......

First time I really followed them since not used to having cable. Was really impressed with the women's hockey team making such a comeback yesterday. Funny thing tho is how this society frowns on skateboarders who end up snowboarding in the winter. I see NO Skateboarding signs all over. The snowboarders are keeping us in the running for most golds. NO i don't skateboard. Not coordinated enough :)
