Has anybody used the 4" coil for Tracker IV

I've gotten quite fond of the Tracker IV and just wondered if anybody else out there has used the 4" coil
for chasing small gold nuggets with.
I know this machine hasn't got the depth as some of the others, but when I am chasing gold
it's usually in shallow creek beds with some of alluvial gravels at about 6" deep.
Can anybody out there tell me if I should bother with one.
Also if anybody also has had some success with this coil.
Looking forward to some feedback.
Best Regards and HH

it should get the 6 inch mark, with the 4" coil. I know that i can get about 6 on my 505 with it, and i have put it on my tracker IV and has worked out ok with it. good luck

Thanks fellas,
It should be interesting on how this will go.
I have specked a few small nuggets in this area in the past so it should be a positive purchase.
HH and cheers

I used it a few times nugget hunting in Queensland, the nugget would need to be at least half a gram and within 2" of the surface. I have only found 1 nugget (1.05 gram) with the T4 and that was with the 8" coil about 2" deep in mineralised ground. HH Nugget.
