has anybody tried the radio head phones from Lowes for your metal detector?

I tried it out yesterday since the headphones has a mp3 jack on it and I had the cord to hook in to it with an adpater to go into my MD but it wasn't very loud maybe if someone that has a MD with volume control can try it out and let me know,thanks HHH
 
get a audio amp for your headphones?? there only about ten bucks or so, work great to in crease volume...i use one on my iphone ipod for more volume when im traveling..
