has anybody taken the 10dd coil in the water?

The 10"dd coil has a long cord so I'm thinking about taking my Omega in the water this coming spring. Put the detector unit in a small backpack and wade to almost almost chest deep. Was wondering how well the 10"dd coil will hold down on the bottom.
