Hardest coin I ever retrieved

I was in the woods with the Vaquero and stock coil . In an area with lots of trash . I got tired of digging trash and was on the way out so I cranked the disc way up . Beside a tree I got the best signal of the day , this was probably going to be a coin . But , there was a large root in the way and it was in the middle of a impenetrable root cluster . I used the saw blade on my Swiss Army Knife and went to work on the smaller roots but still couldnt get to it . I worked at it for maybe twenty minutes and was about to give up . I turned the sens down to 1 and the disc all the way up and there was still a super signal , I had to get it . I was thinking silver maybe even a quarter .There is a hatchet in my truck , so walked the two hundred yards , retrieved it , returned and went to work . This was one tough root. I chopped through it and there were feeder roots under it . So I chopped them out and finally was able to pry the root away . Inserting the pinpointer I get a the signal .Dug it out and it was a stinkin memorial Lincoln . I bet I spent a good 45 minutes on this thing . Oh well .

Funny story. I think we've all done something similar and only to get a memorial lincoln. When we expected so much better. The next one will be better javascript:editor_tools_handle_smiley()

Now thats what i call a rug pull big time . but this shows that you are not a quiter

You finally found that Lincoln I hurried under that root.
That was my back up money for the financial collapse.
I'm screwed now!

I got a laugh out of this coming from a woodchuck!

Yeah , I chopped a root off a tree , not a bright thing to do but it was storm damaged and half of it was on the ground . We had a tornado a couple of years ago and there are areas you cant even get too because of the downed trees .
