27 of the writer's of the Constitution were ordained ministers.
President John Adams wrote a book for 10 year olds on how to read the Bible in one year. He also said,"The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity".
"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
Noah Webster wrote," The religion which has introduced civil liberty is the religion of Christ and His Apostles...".
Benjamin Rush the first founder to call for public schools: The great enemy of salvation of man, in my opinion, never invented a more effectual means of extirpating [removing] Christianity from the world than by persuading mankind that it was improper to read the Bible at school."
James Madison wrote,"Before any man can be considered as a member of civil society, he must be considered as a subject of the Governor of the Universe. And to the same Divine Author of every good thing and perfect gift". [James 1:17]
George Washington: No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the people of the United States...We ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious[favorable] smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation which disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself ordained."
James Wilson signer of the Constitution and original Justice on the Supreme Court explained: Human law must rest its authority ultimately upon the authority of that law which is divine..."
There is much, much more. President Garfield was an ordained minister and spoke at revivals while in office.
This is a Christian Nation. Our politicians are incorrect today if they think our foundation are not based on Christianity.
I am human and make many mistakes, but my belief in God will not be shaken. Don't be blinded by the media and politicians. Know who our source is. Be thankful this Thanksgiving and thank God for the good things we have.
