Happy owner of a new used Golden Sabre II

Been wanting to get another one and low and behold it worked out so I could make a trade for one.

It is mounted on a Tiger Shark rod with the box located under the arm. I like that much more than I thought I would when I heard about it. Very nice balance.

The GSII has the unique ability to make aluminum sound different than all other targets, including gold. I'm hoping, and fixing to test, that all my coils will work with that particular audio. I remember the concentrics worked ok but I don't recall if the widescans kept that feature intact. Here is hoping that they do as prefer the widescans.

Good luck with the GS II.

Let us know how it's goung.

I wish I could tell aluminum foil.

Roll that stuff up and it sounds just like jewelry.

Happy Hunting,

Tabdog

Id like to hear more about the sound of aluminum, Mike!
I used to have a Golden Sabre II, some years back. It was alright, but I got it after the Golden uMax came out. Once that was in my grubby hands, the GSII hadda go.
