We will be spending the evening at home since that's what ol' married folks do. Two of our three kids will be here as well. My oldest went back to the University of Florida for a basketball game but he'll be back tomorrow for some Blackeyed peas and cornbread. Our snacks will consist of the usual chips, p-nuts, M&M's, and a pot of meatballs. We will also open some cans of smoked oysters for cheese and crackers. Since our kids are older (17 and 19) we will probably have a house full of teenagers before midnight which is fine with us. Everyone has a great time and no one gets in trouble that way. The hardest thing is staying up until the ball drops and then we toast the New Year with Welch's Sparkling White Grape Juice, that way the kids can join in as well. That's pretty much the way it's been for the last 15 years or so. We are very satisfied with it though. Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful New Year.
