Happy New Year All- looking forward to some spring time digs. It was difficult to do but today parted with the blue jeans ive been diggin in for the last 5 years. They probably about 25 % gone anyway. For fear of damaging my septic system and or washing machine, was more recently using a power washer in the yard to clean them! My hunting buddies will be glad, my wife will be glad (they usually left a good pile of dust behind the front door anytime i set them down there.) Wait they are still out front, maybe i should dig them from the refuse bin, we could start an ugly pants foto contest.! Good Hunts All, CO

I'm up for that! I've got a pair of some very torn up pants that started life with me detecting 4yrs ago!:lmfao: Great to see you again Oz!

Mud, im storing energy for some spring time finds. Unrelated to detecting , and more to the music i do, this past june i contracted a nasty left arm tendonitis and am still trying to shake it, so was holding back some this fall. So my finds were reduced. My arm is finally improving. By the way about a week ago on a warmer day in a small town away from home i saw an old mansion with its foundation being redone. Ask permission and went for it on the spot in by dress pants and good shoes etc. Had left my f75ltd home but had the back up F70 packed in the far back of the trunk. Hadnt used it for several years. Fired it up, and although only wheatbacks popped up, i forgot how great that 70 sniffs around, it definitely was nice swinging that thing. Good Hunts, CO

Lord! Dress clothes!

Ashamed to say I hunted a small park in a suit and tie on my way to my cousins funeral! (I'm always early) My left elbow also got all goofed up with that tendon this year scooping the sand! Couldnt hardly lift a cup of coffee! Yeah, the F70 is definitely a good thing to have in the trunk for those impromptu opportunities...heck a fellow turns it on and can clean sweep an area in no time..

Glad to hear you are getting better and strategizing a big Spring run...what genre of music are you into? All the best my Friend!:please:

Now i've heard it all, pants so dirty they need a power washing!

well you know the long term ground in type dirt at the knees? "When i came home after a long day detecting in the wet woods, after they dried If i leaned the pants up against the wall they would stay standing! CO

I'll tell you what, if i had pants dirty enough to stand up on their own, why... i'd have 'em bronzed like they used to do to baby shoes! :heh:

Just kidding, i'm mainly a fair weather'd park hunter so my clothes don't get that dirty. Though i have had gloves that could problably stand up on their own!
