Another hunt today - getting tumbled around for a few hours in fairly rough sea / swell. Several coins. then...about to give up, but a clear tone in a depression got my interest....one big scoop and out pops.......

Just under 9gm. Need to test it is a custom made ring. Suspect 18ct (really need gold acid). Not 9 - it came out of the water bright and shiny - yet it is an old drop. It needs a repair on a sizing join, but a very nice ring. Don't think it is 22 (but you never know!!!!). Acid tests and will update.
