I never seen much about this before! This year it is all over the place!

and cuases major industries problems for the day. Goes to show whose actaully to blame or commiting a crime here, the illegal alien whose trying to feed his family and create a better way of life for them or the people who hire them?
 
The employers are as much at fault and are violating the laws Congress refuses to enforce. If they would enforce the laws the illegals would all go home but that ain't going to happen because big business wants them here and big business owns our Congress and the President lock stock and barrel.

You are so right, Uncle Willy. It makes me wonder why have ANY immigration law at all if gov't has no intention of enforcing them... THAT makes me wonder what other laws sren't enforced. Immigrants (many refugees and displaced victims of war) that came here poorer than poor with nothing but hope and built their American dream legitimately, must be disenchanted too. Land of the Free, or free pass in. Don't get me wrong, they are welcome, whoever, when they come legally. On the other hand, if the gov't doesn't care about the laws, why should they? Sorry to go on, but as a family that is straining under the load, I'm sometimes afraid for the future. Just another opinion.
 
Yes, Most American won't work for pay that is gauged for the Mexican economy!! They work here and make half of what an American would want to make at that job and then go back to Mexico and live good for more than half of what it would cost here.. and may even be able to buy a house there on the waterfront!

But who is making the money...The big farmers and other businesses that are paying next to nothing for the labor!!!

Nothing against a work program as long as it is legal!
(Come and go and pay for you own medical and schooling for your children!!)
 
I hear you. The way things are going the future ain't all that rosey. I feel for the legal immigrants who waited years and went through the process to now have to watch these other slugs just waltz in free and get all the hand outs and start demanding citizenship.

So after all this debating, what would be the solution to a problem thats been building for years. Now the USA has what? Millions of illegals, many working; even if you could, the solution would have to consider the many business in operation using these people. To shut the businesses down or sending these folks back to their homeland would have a major impact on the economy, USA, Canada & other countries! Dave
 
The only impact it would have is on the businesses that hired them. They would have to hire local people and pay a living wage. Many businesses in this country have laid off their entire force of American workers and replaced them with illegals. Tyson Chickens is one of them. They paid smugglers to bring in bus loads of them.

They just recently nailed a company that has 40 or so plants around the country for hiring illegals and furnishing them with phony ID and Social Security numbers. Agents arrested about 1400 illegals in these plants. The corporate dream is to replace every worker in this country with illegals. Since the corporations own our government the illegals will continue to pour in by the millions.
