Hey all,
I found this in a park that back in early 1800's to 1913 was a cemetary. The city moved the cemetary in 1914 and was then converted to a city park. I dug this find 11 1/2" down and found it in nearly perfect condition.
Has anyone seen or know what to look for to ID this piece? It appears to be made of brass and from a mold as the back of the rose is hollow. There appears to be three fasteners right, left and top of the rose that are 8 guage with flush to semi lobed heads.
I mostly hunt coin but with cool finds like this, I may start digging alot more. Thank you for looking and input, much appreciated..
Moose.
