What can be used to replace of wrap handle foam when it starts to deteriorate
 
Depends on the type of detector, if it is just a tube style with the display mounted directly to the tube (tesoro cibola or teknetics delta 4000 style) you can use a 10 speed bicycle slip-on foam handlebar grip, just remove the cuff and slide it in place. If the display is mounted separately from the main tube (whites mxt or Omega 8000 style) get some tennis racket grip wrap tape and try that.

If it is a Garrett machine, they will send you a new one free of charge. I just received mine in the mail last week!
