Hand grips - i prefer Red Racer Grip.

I notice the gold racer and the racer 2 have the new smooth hand grip and less of an angle on the hand hold , I personally prefer the Red racer grip with the dents for the fingers, just my personal opinion , it just feels firm and solid on the hand. The Racer R2 looks very nice though. I have a Red Racer and the Gold Racer , to complete the collection i will be having the Black Racer (r2). I wonder what the next colour will be.

Agree the "S" handle and rubber grip on the Red Racer is far more ergonomic and pleasant to use than the handle on the Gold Racer.

Agreed, after trying a friends' Gold Racer, I like the handle on my Red Racer better (just my personal opinion), it has a much nicer feel. Old saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

I wrap mine with mcnett and make them how I want gold racer is too thin so thicken it up a bit with the wrap, for me never used a red racer so cant compare , seems ok so far , guess just never going to keep everyone happy so we can make small mods to stuff like that without to many dramas !
