B.H., how did we miss the storm at H>B. last week I got from a reliable source the water and waves were in the street! over the weekend did you hear anything like that?

There was a day or two where the waves were pretty high (maybe last week Friday?), but I watch the webcams pretty religiously and never saw anything like what your source described.

Ya, cubbie I don't know it was actually a resident that told whatever can't cry over lost treasue. Talk to B.H. I think we got a plan for sat a.m. low.

True about lost treasure - it's quite possible that we missed a strong wave surge at one time or another. I will say that in the very short period of time I've hunted the east coast beaches, it's very apparent that things can change in a VERY short period of time and you gotta be at the right spot at the right time to get the goodies.

I plan to hit the beach for the afternoon low tide - I doubt I'll make the early morning one.

Good luck out there if I don't run across you - post some pictures of your loot! I wish all this wind was coming from a different direction, that's for sure!

Sorry Paul I was at paviallion and hight tide had some water going in street and I did witness it but certainly not like a hurricane

Paul, played with excal last night and FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT. I ALMOST CRIED AND SO DID GIRLFRIEND. the whole time detector in pinpoint mode like somebody said. i switched to descrim low and I GOT DIFFERENT TONES I COULD DIFFERENTIATE. yeah yEAH! awe me so happy happy, and YES IT IS JUST LIKE SOV GT

That was Salisbury though right? I don't think it's as tough for high water to hit the road at Salisbury - I was just surprised if it really had done that at Hampton.

Maybe that's what Bob's source was referring to also.

Either way, big waves means loot!!

Well, that should make a HUGE difference for you!! Glad you figured it out,but of course now I'm not sure I want to hunt with you anymore since you'll outdo me all the time!!!

Bull! You will allways out do me and you know your machine much better than I know mine. It simply means I can at least hang with you now.

THE SAND REPLENISHING HAS MADE IT SO WE NEED A 5 DAY NOR'EASTER FOR THAT PLACE TO BE WORTH THE COST OF BATTERIES!!! I'LL STICK TO MY SPOTS THAT KEEP GIVING IT UP,OVER AND OVER!! LOOKS LIKE AFTER NOON HUNT SAT LOW TIDE AT 2AM 230PM SOMETHING LIKE THAT..
