Hammered Gold Coin

[attachment 274423 w.jpg]Found this little beauty the other day. Edward 111 quarter noble hammered gold coin with the T2se. Im still in shock. The gold coin is being compared in size to a modern decimal one penny.
 
The gold hammered is in stunning condition especially after being in the ground for so long and not getting damaged by the plough,that has to be seen as a once in a lifetime find,have found Celtic gold stators before 55BC and they are a stunning find but does not carry the 'Kudos' that a gold hammered does :thumbup: :ukflag:
